Nestled away from the crowds, Cala Pluma offers pristine sands and crystal-clear waters—a true Ibizan escape.
If you’re looking for a quiet, untouched spot in Ibiza, Cala Pluma might be exactly what you need. Tucked away near Torre de ses Portes, this small cove sits within Ses Salines Natural Park, offering a peaceful beach day far from the usual crowded spots. The walk to get there adds to the adventure, and once you arrive, you’ll find yourself surrounded by clear waters, soft sand, and rugged rock formations.
It’s the kind of place where you can truly switch off and enjoy the natural beauty of Ibiza without distractions.
How to Get to Cala Pluma
Cala Pluma isn’t a beach you can drive right up to. You’ll need to park near Ses Salines Beach – plenty of paid parking available – and walk about 15-20 minutes along a coastal path. The walk itself is beautiful, with views of the sea and salt flats along the way. You might even spot some flamingos if you’re lucky!
Because parking in Ses Salines can fill up quickly, especially in the summer, I recommend getting there early to avoid any hassle.

If you’re comfortable with nudist beaches, you’ll fit right in at Cala Pluma. It’s one of those places where everyone feels welcome, and it has a relaxed, inclusive vibe. Many people who come here prefer sunbathing without swimsuits, so if that’s not your thing, just be aware.
But regardless of how you enjoy the beach, the atmosphere is friendly and respectful, which is part of what makes Cala Pluma special.
Bars and Restaurants near Cala Pluma

As with the facilities, there’s nothing directly at Cala Pluma. For bars and restaurants you have to go back to the parking area of Ses Salines. Ses Salines Beach itself is home to some of the island’s most iconic beach clubs and bars, each offering a mix of great food, drinks, and music. Jockey Club Ibiza is a relaxed beachfront restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine and refreshing cocktails, perfect for a laid-back day by the sea.
Sa Trinxa brings a more lively vibe with live DJs, fresh seafood, and a fun, social atmosphere right on the sand. Malibu Beach Club adds a touch of style, offering Mediterranean dishes, delicious cocktails, and prime views of the beach. More Tips for Visiting Cala Pluma

If you want food or drinks, you’ll need to bring your own or head back to one of the nearby restaurants in Ses Salines. I usually pack plenty of water (and I mean PLENTY), snacks, and a beach towel, so I can stay for a few hours without needing to leave.
Since you’re already in the Ses Salines Natural Park, it’s worth taking some time to explore the surroundings. Torre de ses Portes, a historic watchtower, is just a short walk from Cala Pluma and offers amazing views of the sea and Formentera.
The whole area is protected and home to a variety of wildlife, making it a great place for a scenic walk either before or after your time at the beach.
